Over the weekend, I went to my cousin's farm to part-take in the Ganaraska Forest Horse Club ride. It was lots of fun and I got to ride two of the six amazing horses my cousin owns. After the ride I went right up to their pasture and started to take pictures of the farm - which is SO gorgeous - and of course the horses (who had their fly masks on, but experience is key). I tried out a bunch of the new techniques I learned last weekend. I will be posting pics soon!
As I was on my way to the cottage, we stopped at gas station and I came across this magazine. As I was flipping through it, I discovered many tips and facts about my camera and photography I didn't know about. The first thing I did was test it out. This magazine gave me facts about frogs so for days I looked for frogs and also came across some other animals too! Stay tuned for more pics! -Lexus This past weekend has been AMAZING! I had the luck at my cottage to have many animals be near me - racoons, geese, etc. I had a lot of fun getting pictures of them, even though it's extremely hard to be quiet, while focusing the lense, zooming and looking for a good shot. Animals are such interesting creatures and you don't get to see all their details until you zoom up close. Thanks to Kody for helping me find the animals and picking out different shots!!
-Lexus So I have come to realize lately that I have an obsession with sun rays...in every setting possible. On the weekend I was just testing my camera, but today as I went out to the woods in my back yard, I realized that I love the sun rays in pictures. So as of now I am trying to figure out how to represent it in different way without just taking pics of the sun (ie. different surrounding images and stuff). Although I love the sun, I also love the woods and the creatures in it - although not as much as the sun- I am trying to figure out what makes trees interesting! Stay tuned!!
-Lexus What a great few days, lots of pictures and lots of fun! On Friday, I went to Kodys house and apparently my friends like doing sports on their spare time, so I got to test out my shutter speed! Yesterday, on Canada Day the sunset was beautiful, so I decided to test out the settings on my camera in which best caught the sun rays! I had a lot of fun testing my camera, nature and different angles..I will be posting pictures A.S.A.P. -Lexus |
About MePhotography is amazing, those who know me, know that I love it. It is one way that I can express my feelings without using words. Photography is a way for me to look at the world at a new angle, through my lense. Archives
